 Part three:  The chapter names for Part three is named after hours. So the first chapter would be Hour 1. the second chapter, Hour 2, and so on. This was because the characters only had 24 hours left until prom would begin and ben and radar had to get back to Orlando in time. I found it compelling that the author had changed how fast time would be portrayed in each part of the book.  Part three is about their road trip to Agloe and I realized that Part one and Part three had a lot in common. They are both structured around road trips and essentially take place in the span of one long night.  However, chapter one was more about the trip itself. On the other hand, the destination was more important in Part three. The author does a great job in portraying the bond that was created inside of the minivan with all the chaos happening.  They finally reach Agloe and pass a barn where Margos' car is parked out front. Part two chapter: Grass  Chapter 1-9       After chapter 9 finished the author named the next section "part two". This was when I realized that the book was split into three parts, each having different chapter numbers. Part one ended with just Quentin and Margo's revenge night, so perhaps the parts are split in order to separate certain events.       The day after Margo and Quentin sneaked out, Margo didn't come to school and the following days. I felt awful for  Quentin since he would have been excited to see Margo after that night. Days of confusion continued until Quentin realized that Margo had left a clue for him on her window. Not to mention they are neighbors; a big band poster was stuck on her window which could only be seen from Quentin's room. As soon as he realized, he called radar and Ben for help.  An article written by Takashi Saito was introduced today by Mr.Paterson; he is a professor at Meiji University. The article was about the importance of continuously using paper textbooks instead of digital ones. However, his claims and reasons were way too weak and clearly made no sense. My opinion on using paper textbooks was the complete opposite. I am currently using the iPhone books app to digitally read the book I chose for the winter homework. Although reading it from devices makes it less enjoyable, I can read the novel anywhere and anytime. I know that I wouldn't be bringing my book to school every day, so I would rather have it on my phone. Same with textbooks. There are countless benefits to using digital textbooks. They are environmentally friendly, cost-effective, lighter than textbooks, etc.      I had heard of audible from numerous influencers introducing it and everyone was raving about the new popular way of reading, including my friends and family. ...

Chapter4-6 Chapter 4 At 1:07am as they are driving through the streets, margo reveals that she is planning an act of revenge for her ex-boyfriend and her best friend. Chapter 4 mostly explains how revenge is done. It was confusing to understand all the steps and was quite arduous to imagine the situation whilst reading it. Apparently, Margo's friend Becca and her ex-boyfriend Jase were together that night and their plan was to expose them to her parents. The revenge succeeded and surprisingly Quentin was also playing a big role throughout the process. I realized that Quentin was more adventurous and outgoing than I thought he was.  Chapter 5 the next stop was to Karins' house. Karin was the one who told margo about Jase, and due to the shock, she exploded at her with insults. They leave a bouquet of flowers for Karin as an apology. They then stop by Lacey's place.      Today our team got our feedback for our website. We started working on the website pretty early since all three of us were nearly done with our presentation. For some reason, it took a while for us to settle with a group name. Other groups included puns and meaningful phrases in their group names, so we struggled with coming up with a captivating name. We ended up wasting a lot of time and chose to go with the name "YAS" which stands for all our first letters of our names. We kept the logo design simple and linked it with the color theme of the website, which was blue. Mr.Paterson mentioned how our headline was placed slightly too close to the left. These tiny mistakes were ones that we could have noticed if we checked on our website more often. One of the biggest changes that we needed was our dropdown pages. Paper Towns Ch1-3       After days of trying to decide which book I would be reading throughout the winter holiday, I opt for paper towns by John Green. I don't know much about the author, John Green but I do know that he has written other teen novels such as "The fault in our stars" and "Looking for Alaska". Mr.Paterson mentioned how we should choose a book that we know nothing of the author, so I decided to not search for his name. I have a feeling that one of my classmates might also choose a novel written by John Green since his writing is popular amongst students my age.      Chapter 1 starts off with the narrator, being the protagonist of this story, Quentin. In this lesson, Mr.Paterson talked about our winter homework which was to choose a book and read it over the break. Our homework is to write a blog every week and compare the difference between reading a book academically and for pleasure. I am currently still deciding on which book I am going to read, but i am planning on reading something that fits my preference.   He then talked about the things he had planned for us to do for the 3rd semester which was about fake news.       I found the story of Santa Claus very interesting since I would have never thought that the company of coca-cola would be the reason Santa Claus became red.
