This semester started with online classes on Microsoft teams. I had a few issues with the microphone while in the call and sometimes had bad wifi connection, which made it harder for me to participate in online classes. other than that, writing my book review during the break was not a big problem. I learned a lot about writing reviews and making my writing better. I thought used numerous websites to analyze my writing, such as lextutor and analyzemywriting. towards the end I worked on highering my  AWL score, adding the words of the list into my book review. I noticed that,  just by doing so it enabled my review to be a more mature writing. After school started i decided on what i would want to talk about in my presentation. My slides were done by the time school started and i used editing websites to crop the unnecessary background of some pictures. turnitin.com scans plagiarism in writings we submitted out book review and was able to see the similarity to other sentence on the internet source it tells us what websites it came from adding references doesn't make it a plagiarim under 10% mine was 12% either use zotero or change it into my own words need quotation marks and references if the whole thing is copied off of the Internet We used the website turnitin for the first time. I was amazed to find out that it checks the similarity with other writings and see how much of the writing was copied from other people’s work. Mr.paterson mentioned how the percentage should be lower than 10%. My writing was 12 percent and I realized that some of my citations inside my review was also checked as a copied work. I worked on lowering my percentage by completely changing the sentence and adding more references to the ones I had used from the internet.
